I was at Divine Comedy when i came across two crazy old ladies. One could barely see the actors and the other was yelling "What?!" every couple of minutes. They laughed through out the entire performance and, i'm not sure but, the one in blue seemed to have a coughing fit because she was laughing so hard. The other college students around us were a little confused at why two Grannies were there and they received a lot of weird looks. Some even laughed!
At the end of the performance they asked if i could take a picture of them together and introduced themselves. Gladys(The one in pink and gray) was certainly a character and she said her favorite part of the performance was the fact that Aladdin was a Hipster and the songs about Hipsters. Rose(The one in blue) was such a sweetie, although not afraid to speak her mind! Her favorite part was the "Manning" and "Womaning" skits.
"It reminds me of the days i went Manning!"
They even tracked down Matt after the performance and once again i was the designated photographer. They aren't your average old ladies, they are Grannies with Attitude. No, more like Grannitude.
Grannitude.

Meet Rose and Gladys
Meet Rose and Gladys: A couple of your friendly neighborhood Grannies!
Rose is the lovely lady in purple. Rose spends her days teaching interpretive dance to the other grannies in the neighborhood, collecting kittens from the shelter down the road, couponing for hours on end, and hitting on the men shamelessly in the nursing home with her wingwoman Gladys.
Gladys is the doll in pink. Gladys loves to go on walks with her dog, knit by the fireside, enjoys a good glass of prune juice, and shooting kids with her super soaker from her rocking chair on the front porch with her best friend Rose by her side.
Up Next: Gladys and Rose go to Divine Comedy, tune in this weekend!
